Game Changer: Elevate Your Healing Journey with a Health Retreat


Imagine yourself in the heart of Tuscany, Italy, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of nature, rolling hills and the warm embrace of the healing, soothing sunshine. The memories of last week's health retreat are still fresh in my mind and I want to share the incredible journey we embarked on while I prepare for next year's retreats.


At the tranquil retreat center, one is relieved of the burdens of daily life, where you don't have to worry about making lemon water, celery juice, or healing smoothies and meals. Even our chaga espresso was served every morning with a friendly smile. Our dedicated chef was eager to create scrumptious meals using a mix of mine/his recipes, ensuring we catered to the very specific gluten-free, soy-free, vinegar-free MM plant-based diet. It was also well understood that nourishing the body should be a delightful experience and I was grateful that all the meals were exceptionally enjoyed.


We dined on a lovely terrace, gazing out at the mesmerizing Tuscan landscape while witnessing sunsets that painted the sky every evening during dinner. These moments were not just meals; they were opportunities for sunset meditations filled with deep gratitude and self-reflection.


The eight days we spent together felt like a whirlwind of healing, growth and camaraderie. Our daily routine seamlessly blended meals, insightful lectures, invigorating yoga sessions, serene meditations, delightful snacks and refreshing hikes. All you had to do was show up and immerse yourself in the experience. The importance of rest was continuously emphasized, ensuring that everyone had the afternoons free, allowing one to rejuvenate before our late afternoon sessions.


The retreat is not just about healing; it's about embracing each day to the fullest. I believe in freeing each of us from the confines of the kitchen so one can focus on their well-being without the burden of juicing, prepping foods or endless cleaning. Healing is indeed hard work and during our lectures, we shared valuable insights on navigating this journey efficiently. Topics ranged from travel tips to detoxing your home, the optimal timing for supplements and various subjects that proved beneficial to all those attending.


As we bid farewell on our final day, no one was ready to leave. In fact, the desire to stay lingered among us all, prompting me to reconfigure next year's retreat by offering an optional second week for those who wish to extend their stay. In this extra week, we'll explore local towns, forage wild herbs/foods (season and rain permitting) and delve deeper into Tuscany's hidden gems.
